Been playing here for years. I have seen this course at its worst, but today was not one of them. The fairways after many years was the best I have seen them, greens were fantastic. In the past the fairways always had debris on them after mowing, not this this time , great job jid

Good Afternoon, I will start this message by firstly stating that myself, my wife, and extended family frequent Beacon quite often; never in all of our history golfing this course have we been treated so disrespectfully as we were yesterday. I phoned Wednesday evening and schedule a tee time for Friday July, 3rd at 8:45am for myself and those in attendance with my party. Upon arriving, the person(s) working check-in/cart pick-up informed me that I must be mistaken and that no, I did not have a tee time scheduled at Beacon- and further condescendingly asked if I was certain I was even at the right golf course, as if I were an ignorant and incompetent child. He then proceeded to get attitudinal with me as if it were my fault your staff made an error with my reservation. I frequent this course greater than four times per month, and have yet until yesterday, witnessed such an unorganized mess. Since my reservation was incorrectly handled, I'm confident that other visitors were experiencing the same issue- which led to a noticeable cart shortage for which I was told when asking, 'I ain't got no carts so just wait'. I then out of curiosity walked over to the cart barn area, and clearly see there was in fact one available cart ready for use that could've been assigned to accommodate my party. The shocking fact to this portion of the incident is that, no one even bothered to check for any carts at all. It was my niece's first time coming to play and she had to witness my brother law- her father, get scolded by a much older man (whom could've only been assumed to be the acting manager on shift?) for her not having her own clubs. It was downright to the point this man entered into a mode of arguing with my brother-in-law. The issue of each player not having their own set of clubs has never been an issue brought to my attention nor had it been an issue for those I've seen playing or played alongside at Beacon without individual sets of clubs, before. In short, my party paid for three players and two riders, at rough expense of $160.00- just to be treated quite frankly, as garbage. It is uncertain if we will be returning to your establishment, as we sincerely hope you invest in venturing into drastic improvements regarding your personnel and their customer service etiquette.Kind Regards, William R. Good course to play for the money. Greens can be hit or miss but you really can not complain for the price. Do not listen to the other reviews that say the owner is a terrible person. He is great!!! Most people say that because they dont follow the cart path rules on 1,9, and 18 and get all butt hurt when they get called out. Just a man protecting the grass for everyones greater good!!
