My mother has been at Las Palmas for approximately 4 years. Our experience has been mostly positive. Since my mother does have a grasp on her mental facilities she is able to communicate her needs and expectations with the staff which has been by far, more attentive than not over the 4 years my mother has been a resident. The center's cleanliness, which is often an issue, I believe, at other centers is quite exceptionally maintained. My mother (91 years) like most aging parents and grandparents believed a nursing center was not where she would like to be and because she was initially admitted as a rehab she and we (her family) have learned that the center is actually an awesome option. 3 regulated healthful meals a day, monitored/managed medicine dispensing and administered, allowed to be signed out by family for outside excursions, transportation to and from medical appointments, 24 hour certified nursing on staff, on site rehab facility/gym, social interaction, fun and religious activities weekly, an actual life over at home being cared for by one or two individuals with a weekly visit from a family member. My family is grateful our mother is at Las Palmas and the living option was available in our small town of Cotulla. My mother has now embraced the positives Las Palmas has brought to her life and calls it home while her family is able to relax knowing she is being monitored and that we will be (and have been) notified immediately if she were to have an emergency. Thank you Las Palmas for the great care you provide our mother.

We have a family member here even though its far from home. This place is s much better than our options are on the coast. They helped take him in when we had to evacuate from the Hurricane to. The place doesnt smell like so many of these places do. Thanks for taking such good care of him with his special needs.

An RN refused to change a Bowel M diaper, Caused bodily harm to a resident and left a female resident in the main waiting area with her chest exposed. After many bad reports of her. Mr. Sealy fired her Only to rehire her due to short staff. Hes as incompetent as the RN
