Amazing Golf Course

Wow.......I've played many courses in many places, but this is by far the roughest 'course' I've ever played. I don't know what happened to get the course in this condition, but it is absolutely appalling . What cart paths exist are in such horrible condition that to say they are bone jarring is being kind. On many holes, there are no paths at all, and it was impossible to tell where the fairway was because they were in such poor condition. There are signs everywhere saying the course in 'Under Renovation.' I saw NO evidence of any renovation, just a few roped off areas with no visible improvements going on . I'm not really mad at the staff, as I'm sure they are doing the best they can with what they have, but....this course needs a LOT, just to be below average. I'll tell you who I am mad at. All these people who wrote the glowing reviews I read before driving an hour to get there. I will say one good thing about the staff. At least they had the goats off the course during peak play.

Played a round recently and was happy to see all the work being done to make this course fun and beautiful. Should be really nice after this wet spring leading into summer.

We did a group weekend golf outing to Colovista. 8 couples in the group. We stayed in the cottages which was great to be on the course and able to have our own rooms but still be together. The golf was a lot of fun and a very good challenge with 9 holes of links like holes and 9 holes of more wooded and hilly holes. Bobby the owner seemed to be ever present and intent on making sure we had fun. Highly recommended.

The greens will improve as available moisture improves. Great lay out. Could use more cart path improvements, but this course is an exceptional value as it is today. Highly recommend!

Staff were very friendly, beer was priced right. Greens were rough. We still had a great outing.
