I really like this course. It's not super difficult, but does challenge you. The greens and fairways are in great shape and the driving range and putting greens are always open. You can tell they are wisely using the money from the higher green fees to update and beautify the course. Highly recommend Pine Creek.

Ive enjoyed this course for many years. Their greens are usually in good shape and the layout is playable for golfers of all skill levels. That being said, Ive stopped playing there. Theyve simply gotten too expensive. There are many options within a 15 mile radius that are absolutely nicer and in better condition that charge less to play. They used to charge $45 plus tax with a cart which was perfectly reasonable and the clubhouse improvements do not warrant the green fee increase. This is a $50 course AT BEST. Im stunned they havent noticed a drop in their business because looking online, tee times are always available. If you want an outing to play once a year, give it a try. Just be prepared to be disappointed with the price you pay for an average golf course. I would ask management to consider offering a lunch at the turn special which would be included in the greens fees. This would then warrant a $60 green fee.

Nothing like playing behind a 6-some on a Friday afternoon. Maybe they should take some of those $55/$40(Twilight) Green Fees and hire a Ranger who knows how the hell to keep the golf course moving. Better off to pay the extra $4 to $8 for Hermitage Twilight for a better course, better experience. Course has really fallen off in the last 3 years, its a shame because it used to be a pleasure to play, with better prices !

Great local course, not too challenging but had some moments on the course where you had to definitely consider your shot and the shot after. Good views, nice and quiet, and the course itself was in nice shape.

Nice layout , but I played Hermitage for $20 more and it's in a lot better shape... Hoping later in the season it's better

Really enjoyed this course. You have opportunities to rip one out there but have to play smart golf as well.

Played in Feb. The course is in rough shape, but that did not stop them from charging a $65 green fee. I'm sure the condition of the course will improve when the weather warms up, but the fee is far too high for this time of year.

They are in the midst of changing the fairways. Wasn't expecting lift clean & place in soggy fairways (1,2,4,5, 11,14 & 15)on 90 degree day...& cart path only! Still charged normal rate($40) for cart & 18. With windtree closed, I'm worried they are going to raise rates as though they are Hermitage or Gaylord which they are no where near, even with improved fairways. They did have towels, tees & bottled water (not cold, again a 90 degree day. They did have a large orca cooler with bottled water on two holes (6 & 14) no beverage cart on course. The clubhouse has been improved a little with hardwood replacing the carpet. I would avoid this course for a couple of months til the fairways come in & see where their rates are.

Always wanted to play this course more but over the last two years course almost seemed in ruins. Played this weekend and what a turnaround. Course was in great shape. Now if we can just get those sand traps looking better! Cant wait to play it again. Def moving in the right direction.

Sand traps are in rough shape but other than that very nice course with a great club house and food. It's just hard enough to be challenging but not frustrating.

My buddies and I have golfed here the past 3 Thursdays and cant get enough. Greens and fairways are in great shape! You really dont want to find yourself in those sand traps.. Nice driving range & practice green. If you have a slice ( like me ) this course is very forgiving. Have water jugs and surprisingly clean restrooms though out the course. Update: Im going to check on the restrooms tomorrow on the course, my buddy doesnt recall saying they were nice. Ill check for myself. He had been drinking all day..

Beautiful layout and reasonably priced. I golfed here on a rather dismal rainy morning and admittedly did not play my best. They course held up well despite the conditions. I'll definitely be back to try it out when the weather is better. Note - they also have a full driving range.

Always friendly. The course is challenging, but not excessively so. The main downside is that the terrain does not always drain well, and so the course sometimes remains soggy even several days after a heavy rain. The main upside is that it's peaceful and quiet.

Might be the best course in middle Tennessee that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Greens are fantastic! Newly renovated clubhouse too

Fairways are in decent shape, greens are putting better. Sand traps are aweful at best, virtually no sand. Course overpriced currently for condition.Staff is great!

Fairways being completely redone. Mud fest 2018. And we had to pay full boat. Wasn't told when I booked the Tee time. Not happy about it. Should be half price. One positive, greens are in great shape. But that wasn't enough to keep my mates from being upset with me, as 8 booked the round.

Maybe 3.5...these folks need to recognize that they do not offer an experience equal to the price at all.. They are the most expensive golf course on their peers but the greens, fairways and overall experience is not equal to the price.. The only good thing is, getting a tee time is usually pretty easy... That's a line they should read between... People are great, layout is fun, grass, greens, rough are mediocre at best

The people and service at this place is top notch. But the course, especially the fairways were just awful. In and around the greens were perfect. You pay $50+ dollars on the weekend the course needs to be in better shape. If youre repairing fairways and that many at one time then you should not be charged the full amount. Its reality when you would rather be in the rough than the fairway. Once those and there are many the course will be awesome.

I'll give it a much better rating when the senior prices come down...and I'm giving it that many stars out of consideration of the great old days this course enjoyed. I hope the new owners realize that and decide to correct it...I'm sure they will see overflow crowds in the parking lot again...like the old days...until that time I'm going to Long Hollow and Cedar Crest.

Wet and way too much money. A real mud bath and still charged full price. Stay away for now. Played it again 5/8/19. Greens were nice. Fairways still thin but better. Tees are real bad need lots of work. Price for seniors 35 not bad. I would not pay 45 which is regular fee.

I was there for a charity event, so I have no idea about the quality of the golf course. The event facility was very nice and was happy to see that they allow people to use their place for good causes.

I can play The Hermitage at their twilight rate for the same thing Pine Creek charges. A much better course. Why wouldn't a person do that?

Great Course and Great Conditions. We have a group that comes back every year to Nashville and this is our favorite course to play in Nashville. The greens are always in good condition. The front and back nine fell totally different and are both player friendly. Well worth the $55 we paid, but they have rates that go as low as $25 if you ask when to play.

My husband and I played the course in July 2014 and there were some dead spots in some of the fairways (which they were obviously working to fix), but there have been spots at every course we played in Nashville due to the Winter kill that everyone experienced this past winter (according to the other courses we played). For the most part, the course was in excellent shape. Most of the fairways were great and every green was perfect. This is the only course we chose to play twice in Nashville! You will love it!

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this course. It would be ok at $35-$40 but asking $60 (Saturday morning) to play it is too much. Greens are ok but fringe is messy with sand, fill in grass, weeds, etc. bunkers were unkept with standing water. fairways werent mowed but I heard they had lost them not too long ago so I figure that was why they were longer/uncut. Staff was professional and courteous.

Went middle April. Course was extremely wet, fairways are still young, greens recently aerated, Sandy and slow. Rough is deadpan, bare of green. Hopefully by mid May course will be playable.

Had a tee time for 7:00 AM as a single and wasn't informed there was a shotgun start tournament at 8:00 AM. Got sandwiched between groups of 4 playing a scramble. Spent two holes on the back nine getting cussed out and hit into by a group of 70 year olds telling me I shouldn't be out there. Workers refused to give even a partial refund even though I wasn't able to finish. Only a partial rain check on a course I don't wish to play again due to course conditions and my last experience. Will not be coming back. Greens were also in awful shape on the front. Not worth 45 dollars or close to it.-Could have been avoided had I been informed of a shotgun start and would have played 9. Had no idea there was even a tournament till I was informed. Also, ownership response accurately reflects customer service received after I paid.

I have played pine creek for years and have always been very pleased with service and the condition of the course. Played 5/13/14 and could not believe the condition of the fairways only 30% of the fairway had grass and the other 70% was dead brown bermuda and dirt. Just an example of how bad it was watched a turkey dusting its shelf on the ninth fairway. Not having an issue with the fact something happen for them to lose their fairways for whatever reason but the fact that it cost 40 $ to to play a golf course with basically no fairway grass. Only reason I gave it two stars was due to the greens were it perfect condition, which the course has always been a 5 plus in the past.
