With out a doute the koolest course in the hills. Finally got to play the back nine yesterday. Was the funniest time. Beautiful course. I loved it.

4 stars for green conditions. They are very nice (many on the small area wise) and such beautiful views. Starting to grow in for the spring, just were cut, albeit a little high and slow, but has been a rainy week before. Undulations and most slope off in every direction.Above average to average for fairways. They weren't cut close but smooth.Tee boxes were just mowed also but left a little to be desired.Back 9 addition is crazy layout but tough and very cool. Makes it worth driving around finding the teeboxes.Clubhouse and extras are light, but effective with hot dogs, standard beers at the turn, etc.There are some sand traps. A few greenside were ok and a few were more like waste areas. And some in between.We were very happy with the deal, rack rate is pricey.

Course is in REALLY bad shape. Way over priced, SHOULD be around 30-35 dollars. Lacked markings, you could have hard time finding next hole. Some greens were dead. It was like golfing on a cow pasture. Very bad condition, also back 9 did not come up on GARMIN GPS.

My husband and I golfed this course and loved it. It has gorgeous views, is challenging, and is reasonably priced. We golfed for $100 for 18 holes and a cart for the two of us. This is less than other courses in the area. Yes, the brand new back 9 holes are a little rough yet, but they just literally opened it. Itll take a little time to be perfect, but we liked the holes. The local golfers in the clubhouse advised us to take balls because youll lose a bunch on the back 9. They were right! But, we loved the course. Some other reviews are pretty harsh, but Its not as bad as some of them say. Its a great course.Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. This gem located just 5 miles west of Sturgis is a great course. If we get back to Sturgis, we will definitely golf it again.

Back 9 was impossible to negotiate. Once we located 10 tee we had other golfers asking if we knew where 15 was? We couldnt find it either. Need much improvement on direction signage from green to next tee box. Seems real estate development is taking priority.

This is a tale of 2 nine hole courses. The front nine is the original 9 holes and was in very nice condition. The back nine is newly opened and a little tough to navigate. It sprawls out through the housing development. The back nine wasn't in too bad of condition. The main issue of this course is the design of the back nine. It has a terrible layout. The club should get their money back from the designer. I'll play the front again.

Very disappointing. I always thought this looked like a very nice course driving by. Very run down, with a terrible (confusing) layout. 1 of 9 ball washers actually cleaned your ball. Not very well maintained. I wouldn't waste my money here unless it was a last option.

Saturday morning, packed course. Greens aren't mowed, bunkers aren't raked. Spend your money at Spearfish Canyon or Elkhorn Ridge.

We live up the road and being tired of deadwood we tried it for supper and it was great and 1/2 price of deadwood ,we will be back !!
