Normally I would score this track very high but it is totally under maintenance repair: re-sodding the fairways and sanding the greens. Still fun but takes from your experience.

Lets say we had a less than pleasant experience today at the Rivertowne course. To start, the starter was not the kind of person you want to start your round of golf with. He didnt tell us anything about the course, he wasnt even around when it was time to go to the first tee box. He made up for it when he decided to drive his cart down to us while we were hitting our second shot on #1 hole and told us we needed to speed it up. After that we played on dirt for the majority of the day. NOT a course I would recommend or will I ever play again. Green fees were only $36 but with the course in that condition, we payed too much.Brian

Played this course on May 16. Great layout, the greens are in excellent shape, but the fairways are absolutely atrocious . Ive never seen anything resembling this on a top notch public course. Literally like hitting off concrete, dead brown fairways. They had many spot patches of sod, but even that was dying and there is absolutely no water on the fairways at all.
