I had a full bag fitting with Matt Cram-Smith and it was by far my favorite golf experience. I left with much more knowledge on the game before I arrived. Definitely as good as they say and highly reccomend

I had a great experience at Lowcountry Custom Golf. I met with Matt for a putter fitting(my first ever). The equipment they have is state of the art and the knowledge of Matt was phenomenal. After a few putts to get my stats, Matt walked me through a lot of the stats and what they meant. He showed me the good, the bad, and the ugly of my stroke. He offered me a wide range of options for putters, let me putt with them and helped me stay within my budget.I ended up with a superb putter, the TaylorMade Ardmore 1, a face balanced putter that was the best fit for my stroke. We had some time left in the fitting and he was able to identify some alignment, setup and stroke corrections and gave drills to try at home. I left with a wealth of knowledge and felt very good about the brief lessons he had given. I am a 3 handicap and have never had the pleasure of breaking par(mainly due to my putting letting me down). The Sunday after I met with Matt, I had the chance to play for the first time with my new putter as well as new putting setup and stroke. My irons put me in position that day and my newfound putting helped me fire off a 69, my first sub-par round. I look forward to working with Matt and Lowcountry Custom Golf again soon. In addition to fittings, they also offer lessons in each of their 3 state of the art rooms. Matt, thanks for being such a professional as well as a great person to take advice from. Cheers,Jeff S.

Had a great fitting with Joe Stevens. He made the process simple and stress free. My drive time was almost 2 hours but I heard they were worth the drive and I strongly agree. I would definitely do it again.

Walked in for the first time today just to check the store out and see what it had to offer. I left with so much knowledge and a future custom fit customer. Matt talked to me about golf, fitting, took a few swings off of a club I was curious about and I had great feedback. Im looking forward to working with Alan as well as Matt moving forward. If you want to fine tune your game, up your game or anything golf. Go by and see them!

Best golf store and fitter in the area by far. They have a very knowledgeable staff that really cares about the customer's needs. They have 3 large fitting rooms to hit balls in with launch monitors and everything you could need to do quality club work. No other golf store or fitter in the area even comes close to what this place offers. Highly recommended!!

First class operation. I made an appointment with David a few weeks ago for an iron fitting and was pleased to receive a follow up confirmation call 2 days before my fitting. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly as they looked up my appointment. From that moment forward, I was addressed by name. Very impressive. As far as David and the fitting, I have never felt more comfortable. He took his time in not only the fitting, but he made it a teaching process. I came in hitting my 7 iron 135-150 yards and spraying some a little left but mostly right. I finished the fitting hitting my 7 iron 170-180 yards with a MUCH tighter pattern and mostly a slight draw. Needless to say I also left with a 9 club order and look forward to returning for a putter fitting soon. If you love the game of golf, as I do, please take the opportunity to visit David and the staff for your next club purchase.

Everyone in there LOVES golf. So it's a golf shop. Great range of skills and knowledge. There's a golfer there that can suit anyone's approach. David really put together a nice chemistry, Christian and Joe Stevens are amazing guys. You need a spark for your game, go see these folks. They'll help you search.

David was such a pleasure to work with. Having never been to a fitting before, I was unsure how things would turn out. David works with 'your' swing and tailors the fitting to that. He's not overly concerned with numbers or too technical but he does a great job breaking all the data down and putting it into 'real world' terms that golfers can understand. We tried different shafts, grips, and even got some great advice to help my game on the course. At completion of the fitting, I left feeling more confident and had a great assessment of what new heights my game can go. I would highly recommend David and his store to anyone who is serious about getting better.

I drove almost two hours to get fitted for a new driver on the recommendation of a friend. I was so pleased with the knowledge and service from David Ayers that I returned to check my irons. After his adjustments I have never played better. Very reasonably priced. Anybody looking for a club fitting would be doing themselves a disservice not to use Low country custom golf.

Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and are genuinely interested in you as a customer. From out of town and stopped to have my putter checked/adjusted. They treated me as well as someone buying a whole set of clubs. You would be remiss if you didn't visit them before going to a 'big box' store. Going to visit them again.

There is not another place in the world as good as low country Golf ,,, went over today they bent my irons 1 degree flat 2 degrees strong ,,, put mid size grips on 2 piece tape then 2 pieces on the bottom part of the grip,,,, they get it Wright ever time ,,,, fast service ,,, great internet dept found me a driver that was perfect ,,, always has a great selection of grips ,,, I got fitted by mr Ayers told me its time switch to regular miss one fairway pickup 20 yards ,,,, thanks again

Simply put, David is one of the most knowledgable fitters in the industry. He not only makes sure that your fitting is done correctly, but also makes sure that you understand, as he puts it, 'your swing DNA.' Learning what swing speed, ball speed, spin rates, etc. means to you, your golf swing, and optimizing your golf equipment only stands to make you a better golfer. David has a passion for what he does that upholds his standing as one of the nation's top 100 fitters. I'd even argue that he is one of the top 25! I normally do not write reviews, good nor bad, but David's professionalism and client care made me feel so inclined to do so. In short, David received my order of a driver, 3 wood, and hybrid from X company that were near the shafts in which I was fit for, but not exactly. David assured me that if these shafts did not perform as prescribed that he would make it right. I gave the clubs a fair shake but in the end they were simply not the right equipment for my swing. I called David to let him know and he said that he would put in an order for replacement shafts that day. A week later I stopped by the shop to find that, not only did David 'make it right,' but he made it even better. He had special ordered 3 of the top shafts on the market and gave me the same words. If these don't work either, we will make it right. Well, they were right this time. In fact, they were even better than I had expected. If you want a proper fitting done by an extremely knowledgable fitter, then you would be costing yourself strokes by going anywhere else.
