I showed up with my family, really excited to play this course. We live in the Upstate and do not get to play courses like this, claimed to be nice, beautiful, tough, etc. We were expecting to pay $90-ish per person for the round, but also expected the course to be in a condition that was worth this price. We showed up early to warmup, only to find out the only driving range was on the Links course, and when we asked if we could use it, David from the pro shop said I mean, you could, but gave us no instructions or directions. So instead, we just went to the practice green and putted around. The starter was very nice and helped us out. The course itself was flooded and the greens had just been punched. We had no idea. We booked our tee times online but called before we booked and there was no mention of punched greens. They charged us full price, with it coming to $104 per person. The views were beautiful and the course played tough, as expected, but the greens were in terrible shape. They were punched and obviously just spray painted. They had sand on them to help the grass grow. Standing water was throughout the entire course, all the bunkers were flooded and yet after all of this, they still charged full price. We got through the round, still having fun, but went into the pro shop after and spoke to David, expecting some sort of resolution, but he said there was nothing they could do. Any reputable course would have helped, giving a discount or partial refund. If we knew the conditions previously, we could have found another course that at least met the expectations. The course is beautiful but the staff was unhelpful and the greens were terrible. Not worth it. $100 is a lot of money to pay for a course that I can get better conditions on in a $25 local muni course anywhere else.

While I enjoyed the views and the course layout, I was very disappointed with the over all experience. We were told there was a driving range available and that cart fees were included in our price. Both were untrue. Upon arriving we were charged more than we were quoted and we were not told that the greens were punched and the course was flooded. In all my years of playing golf, I have never been too a course that charged full price during conditions like this. David was extremely rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I will not be coming back. You can play a much nicer course for half the price.

Good course if you can get to the 1st tee! The last two times I have attempted the place I was not able to find a parking spot. The area is so overbuilt that there is no place to park!

That staff really goes out of there way to make your round a great experience.

Very nice condition, some outstanding views, just not a fantastic golf experience. Virtually no human touch from the staff. Zero communication. Very hard to find the actual course entrance. Expected a bit more 'high touch' from a place like this. So many other options for golf in Charleston area, it may be a while before we return
