I have played all the courses in the area, this one is 5 minutes from my house, and this is the first time I played it. This area has a great mountain ambiance since the course lays at the bottom of the blue ridge section of the Appalachian mountains. The greens were perfect, so were the tee boxes. It is a shorter course, but it makes up for it with all the winds and turns.

The course was in great shape and thankfully a good breeze on the back nine. Haven't played here in years so we were happy to be back. Enjoyed some very challenging holes and loved the beautiful scenery. We will be going back.
