Laurelwood is beautiful! My experience is that this appears to be true for avid golfers, non-golfers and everyone in between! There's something about the feel of the place that makes everyone feel welcome. I remember walking through the pub for the first time and not only was the staff super friendly, everyone else was, too, I felt truly comfortable. The back patio looks out over the course and is the perfect place to have a refreshing beverage and unwind with friends. I'm not an avid golfer but I went with a scratch golfer who hadn't been to Laurelwood for years. He said it was a completely different course than the last time he had been there and was super impressed and excited about the idea of coming back to play. I'm going to bring my hubby back for a fun date -- hitting some balls at the driving range and then sitting down together for a delicious meal :) What a gem, I highly recommend!

Trainwreck of a golf course. It feels like they are trying to change the layout too quickly without the right budget. Greens were in decent shape, but the rest of the course was in below average condition. They were out of golf carts, and the pace of play was probably the worst I have ever experienced.

Fun greens on a 9 hole. Cheap good links.

I used to enjoy this course, and played the new layout yesterday. It is absolutely terrible. 8 used to be a par 5 with a slight dog leg, now its a 100yard chip shot par 3. Now the 9th hole which was a challenging uphill par 3. Is now the blind shot hole where you literally have no idea where the green is or if the people ahead of you are off of it. Its a par 5 that you cant even hit driver on. Disappointing!!
