Actually a pretty challenging course. We played Redbud and on most of the holes, if you miss the fairway by 10-20 yards then your ball is immediately lost in tall grass. Given fairways are decently generous but if your ball finds that tall grass, might as well re-tee. Wide mix of holes, some short par 4's where I hit 3-wood; wedge, some long Par 5s where I hit full driver; 3 wood and still could not reach and I'm a long hitter. Not much water, holes are laid out well, grass had just been aerated but was otherwise very plush, tee boxes were immaculate. They did give us a discount for the aerated status so that was nice.

Lots of fun. Beautiful course. Great staff. Stay out of the rough. Wicked, nasty stuff. I met a family of gnomes living in the rough on #9!
