Avalon Lakes Golf course is one of the premier courses in Northeast Ohio and possibly the entire state. Host to former LPGA tournaments (used to host the Giant Eagle Classic) and other events, the course offers a variety of challenges no matter which of the tee boxes you play. Water hazards and sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout the holes, leaving stray shots either in the drink or the sand. Often times, a golfer is better served by playing a careful iron shot rather than trying to blast it from tee to green. Bottom Line: if you want to play one of the most beautiful, challenging courses in Ohio, look no further than Avalon Lakes.
