I want to preface this with that I've been going to Turkana for years, but I was highly disappointed when I went over the past weekend. My friend and I were charged an additional fee for having separate carts. I understand that we are adding additional work for the course by taking separate carts, but I feel that I should not have to pay an additional fee when I am trying to follow CDC guidelines and practice social distancing and ensuring my personal safety. Additionally, there was a large gathering near the clubhouse when we made the turn to the back nine, which was also unsettling.Additionally, the cart paths were in horrendous shape. I understand these are one of the last things on the list to maintain for courses, but there were several occasions where it was rough riding going up hills where it seemed unsafe.
