Nice range for warming up 2 18 hole courses and a par three course. All public. Hollywood casino across the road with decent food. I am not a gambler so I would visit The Pine Club or Oakwood Club for the best steaks on the Planet. At least 5 presidents have ate at either one Oakwood Club is under rated for the Oakwood strip steak which is kill. Add the shrimp cocktail before meal and you are n heaven. PINE Club has awesome Filet and seafood . Nice filet on the bone.Travel south to Moraine CC if you are connected or try the Springfield Cc for a taste of vintage golfing.Cheers

We had the best experience here. Visiting from out of town and wanted to get a few rounds in. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had clubs & necessities needed. (Unfortunately, I don't remember the gentleman name behind the counter who helped us, but he was awesome!) Gary (starter/marshal) was wonderful! We enjoyed talking with him before we tee'd off and seeing him a few times on the course. Great public golf course with excellent customer service. If we find ourselves in Dayton again, we will be back!! Played the front 9 of Eagle and full 18 of Hawk... both courses provided their own challenges. Fair amount of water and sand on both, greens in good condition, we were not rushed - nor pushing the group in front of us. Good spacing between groups. We are from Seattle and the pricing here is phenomenal for what you get at a public course. Wish we had something like this at home!

Played back 9 a couple times on the Hawk course. Challenging layout with water on each side of the fairway nearly every hole and plenty of large sand traps. Greens were in good condition. Played front on Eagle and enjoyed that...not nearly as much water but still a fair amount of hazards.
