The nicest people. So nice having a covered driving range and learner course so close to downtown.

A nice place to practice. The course was nice, not in bad shape at all. Some of the greens had dark patches but to be fair I've seen much worse. They were surprisingly quick. Keep in mind it's a good place to practice if your looking to hit long irons and woods there's a range and a nice course to practice short iron chipping and putting.

This place really is a hidden gem. Not in the sense that it's a 5star championship golf course which it isn't. But in the sense that it's location, facilities, and affordability/value are second to none. First, the driving range is GRASS. Not many places in the area have this for the public at an affordable price. They also have mats if you prefer. The best part is the driving range has a wonderful view of the Cleveland skyline. For only a small fee you can practice unlimited balls out of real bunkers as well as 5-40 yard shots at their short game facility. Once again most public courses in a 20 mile radius do not offer anything close to this. Cost of practice facilities goes towards your metroparks bonus rounds which no other courses do. As for the course itself don't let the par 29 scorecard fool you. Everything is very tight and if you're not hitting every iron in your bag solid and consistent it will be hard to score well here. I'm a 10 handicap and this is a frustrating course to play. If everything is on, breaking 30 is possible. If not, the 40s are easily in play. Because of the short length this course is perfect for beginners too. Full disclosure, some tee boxes are in rough shape but to the trained eye you can see they cut some corners when they built the place. Some tees are too small, in the shade, and surrounded by tree roots so they suffer. I am sure the current staff is doing the best that they can given the corners that were cut years ago. Everyone in Cleveland should be made aware of this course and get out and play it!
