Amazing Golf Course

Starter is going to get punched one day…the rudest person I’ve ever seen… Blue Ash, if you read the reviews then you can see he’s a major issue….get rid of this bum and find a friendly face to greet the golfers

Great golf course. The guys behind the counter are super. I live near there and they always find a way to get me out there. The one thing that isn’t good is the grumpy old starter. I asked to use a cart to run out to my car to get my clubs and he crabbed at me about hurrying up to get on the tee. I grabbed a cart anyway a got my clubs. I walked over to the tee and meet the guys I was playing with. All was good except the starter. I know what the problem is. They don’t pay enough. All the good starters are at the County courses. They pay $3 more than blue ash and they employees get free golf. You need to fire that starter and spend twenty bucks more a day on a nice person to be the starter.

I have been playing Blue Ash for years, as well in their golf leagues. Lots of my money has been spent on this course. While the clubhouse staff has been great. Unfortunately, their starters and those who patrol the course ruin the experience.My latest experience involving the starter came at the 7th hole. My friend and I were playing at a good pace. In fact, we slowed down because there was a group of walkers in front of us and no one for the last two holes behind us. Rather than coming up and politely asking us to hurry up (which was uncalled for anyways given our pace'. The starter proceeded to raise his voice and tell us to hurry up without asking any questions or any consideration. Back at the clubhouse, he proceeds to yell at us again for sitting by the clubhouse while we counted our scores and made way to go pay for another round. This could have been a different experience if he would have started the conversation in a cordial matter. If it wasn't for the money I have paid for our league, I would not be returning anytime soon.

Love this course and the facility but I have had terrible experiences with the starters at blue ash as of late. This is very unfortunate as I have been a loyal patron for the past 5 years and am also in the Monday Night League. They really need to tone it down A LOT. If I am paying $52 to play some golf I am not also purchasing unnecessary and unfair confrontations from the staffers. Do better, Blue Ash.

Went there this afternoon with my sister and our fiances and after speaking to at least six different employees we were told on the second hole that theyd received a complaint because we had tank tops on and this was deemed unprofessional. This was my sister and Is first time golfing so we were unaware of a dress code and it was not addressed by any of the employees we spoke to while paying, eating, or waiting to start. While leaving we saw several men in ratty old gym clothes that were still permitted to golf. I should note its 90 degrees outside so tank tops seemed like the most weather appropriate attire. Very disappointed in the treatment we received and the outdated policies they are enforcing. BACGC really puts the Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden in golf.
