Amazing Golf Course

Well-maintained course with good pace-of-play.

Great course and staff.We golf there at least once a week. Fairways and greens in very good shape. I love reading the one and two star reviews many do not know the course rules. I was reading the one a month ago from Craig keller about his trouble with the starter well let me tell you I was there with friends on there patio after golf a d heard the starter trying to explain the course rules no one under 18 can drive a golf cart without an ID. It's because of insurance liability. And the gentleman forgot to state that the starter did apologize for his inconvenience. There are list of rules .. Before any golf's they should read the course rules.

Good value Metroparks course. Been playing here since 1994. They have upgraded this track recently and it is also in the best condition ever. It's short and not too difficult, so good for older folks too.

Based on some recent reviews, it seems consistent with how terrible the employees are here with customer service. We purchased a round of 18 through the GolfNow app (this is ADVERTISED on Shawnee Hills website). When we arrived the lady told us that it wasnt in their system and that the tee time was already taken. I showed her our confirmation number from GolfNow and at this point, no big deal we can hop on a later tee time. Instead, she MADE US PAY FOR A SECOND TIME at the Shawnee Hills regular rate. She took no responsibility and even stated that this happens THREE times a day, but that it is all GolfNows fault. So somehow, we had to pay for the Golfnow rate and their own rate. Luckily, Golfnow was able to give me a refund on their end. Any course with common sense would have taken care of us for their mistake, but these guys are absolutely clueless. I hope the other Cleveland Metroparks courses have better service because I recently moved to the area and would like to support the city if possible. I would definitely not recommend coming to this course.
