Nice little golf course, well maintained and tough greens. Only reason I give it a 3 star rating is because of the social distancing guidelines they have set in place. First there are no dividers in the cart. The only way you can have your own cart is to pay an extra $5 for 9 holes or $10 if you play 18! As much as you pay you would think they could afford some type of cart divider. And how are you making a profit off a pandemic and charging customers for something they have already payed for...a cart! Bad business.

Two 6somes holding up the course. I called the ranger & he's a no show. It's taken an hour to play holes 1 & 2. Their are 3 groups waiting on every tee. No it's not an outing, just a Saturday afternoon. It's an absolute joke. Our 4some & the 2some are driving off now & willNEVER RETURN !! Don't WASTE THE MONEY !!

My husband and I got married here September 2019. The venue was beautiful! Food was amazing, and drinks were great! The best part of having our wedding here was Jan and her team! They are so organized, professional, and excel at making the bride feel comfortable. Jan took care of quite literally every single thing a bride could stress about with a positive fun attitude. Everything was perfect!

We were more than pleased with Chenoweth Banquet Hall for our wedding reception! They have a large space available with a perfect set up with the dance floor in the middle of the room. The food was delicious and all the people working the event were amazing to say the least including the bartender! Jan, the event coordinator at Chenoweth helped us through the entire process and never left any detail out. She had ideas as well as Darla and then if we had an idea, they immediately ran with it and did everything they could to make sure that our night was perfect and what WE want. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reception venue. One amazing thing that I loved was that they have a lot of decor that you can use if you want. Also, we were able to drop off all the decorations we had and then do a walk through a couple days before the wedding and THEY SET IT ALL UP AND TEAR IT ALL DOWN! I mean, what more could a bride ask for?? They do a tasting so that you know what your ordering for your guests too! Thank you Jan and the rest of the staff at Chenoweth for making our day and night unbelievable :)

Great layout. Cart paths are a little deteriorated. Front nine is tight with a lot of problems if youre not hitting it straight, not that long.Back nine is longer. Greens are great. Both number 9 and 18 are great finishing holes over water.Nice horseshoe bar to relax and drink. Very friendly personnel.

They do not space out their tee times at all. 3 groups sitting here waiting to play a hole. $50 bucks to play 1 hole in 35 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous

Chenoweth is good Course. This time of year(fall) makes it difficult to get a good handle on how the course plays. Theres some dogleg lefts and dogleg rights. Some of the doglegs take you up gentle inclines that test your choice of club. Holes 9 and 18 finish over nice size pond so be extremely careful. If you can fade the ball youll be immensely happy. Fairways are a premium, try to stay there. The greens were just areated and theyre extremely slow. At least they give you break on price for that inconvenience. The clubhouse has a snack bar and drinks. For those ready for something bigger this course has the facilities to handle good parties. As near as I could tell theres no strict dress code, but dont try cutoffs and tank tops. Its still golf. The cart paths are very bumpy, take your time and dont throw your partner out the cart. Oh yes, if youre adverse to walking on hills to find your ball you are out of luck. The hills will test your leg strength so be prepared. Theres a fair amount of sand traps and they look to be well drained and sanded. Good luck.

We were at our grandsons wedding reception on Saturday, I couldn't say enough about how nice it was. Chenoweth did a great job and the food was exceptionally good, and the staff were very efficient and helpful. We would recommend them anytime.

Beautiful venue! We attended a wedding reception. The room is spacious, even with 30 tables there was plenty of walking space. It has a good size dance floor. I am not sure if the DJ was part of the package, he was outstanding!The buffet was delicious and plentiful.They have a photo booth (not an outside company). For a smaller group there is a room divider.The wedding party had some pictures taken by a pond on the golf course.I think this facility is a hidden gem!

Going to have our 60 year High School reunion here. Manager seemed very nice. Hope it works out. It did work out.The staff went out of their way to make a great evening for everyone. The food and service was great. THANK YOU CHENOWETH STAFF.

Horrific customer service experience. Guy in the shop was great, everyone else was extremely disrespectful after we spent a lot of money to play. Never coming back. Pick somewhere else to golf if you want to have a good time.

Cheap fun golf in an excellent neighborhood. No issues but only 3 starts because it's not a 5 star resort style coarse it's a 3 star resort kind of course.

We had our wedding and reception at Chenoweth on March 23, 2019, and I cant say enough about how wonderful it was. Jan Todd was so great to work with. She and Darla are super organized, and the entire staff is friendly and helpful. Any requests we had were answered with a cheerful yes, and they were very accommodating and responsive any time I had questions. The facility is beautiful and Jans team is very on top of things, often offering suggestions about things I hadnt even thought of yet. Through all the usual stress of a wedding, Jan and her team had me feeling completely confident that the event would run smoothly - and it did! We were truly able to enjoy our wedding and reception without worrying about any details during the event. Chenoweth is a beautiful facility, perfect for weddings and receptions. They have space available for the wedding party to get ready, and there is a gazebo and lake outside where pictures can be taken. We had a sunny day so were able to get some photos outside, even in March. Chenoweth was able to provide almost all of the decorations. They have a wide selection of table cloths, napkins, centerpieces, cake stands, table numbers and other wedding decorations available for use, and we were able to select lovely decorations from their inventory. The only additional decorations we secured were chair covers and sashes. The food was delicious and prepared on site, and again they were happy to accommodate any special requests we had. We were even able to have our rehearsal dinner there! They also work to accommodate your wedding budget. I highly recommend Chenoweth for your wedding you will so enjoy working with Jan throughout the planning process and the actual event. Thank you Jan and the entire team for making our wedding and reception such a beautiful and special day for our family!

Course is mediocre at best. Staff is rude/incompetent. Many other courses in the area in better shape for similar prices.Used to play here a few times each summer but wont be playing there anymore.

Played for the first time on 8.19.18. And was very impressed with the course. Very tight and narrow fairways that will test your driving accuracy on almost every hole. The greens were hit or miss as far as being consistent, some were super fast and some you were leaving putts way short. I wish the tee box would give more info on the distance to water hazards but all in all a very nice course and would played it again with reasonable prices.

Hello everyone, I have worked as a groundskeeper here for the past 3 years and its a great place to work. Chenoweth is an 18 hole public golf course thats challenging, but not so that it isnt a good time. Its located in the city of Green an outskirt of Akron, Ohio. We are very busy when weather permits. After golf, come into our remodeled clubhouse for a beverage and sandwich. The company is always upbeat and eager to tell you a story. The bartenders are second to none with a great deal of experience and personalities to match.If all of this isnt enough, book out out banquit hall which is elegent, and comforting at great prices. We cater to many weddings there annually, including one coming up in November to my favorite girl in the world, my beautifull daughter Amanda and her awesome fiance, Joe. All of this and more at a convenient location with very fair pricing. Give them a shot. Their given a 4/5 stars, which is pretty cool , anyway you look at it. Cheers, Jim Farkas

Interesting course.However, it is a little bit too lush for the average golfer. The rough today was wet and a good 4 inches in some spots. The green speeds we're inconsistent.Any dry month would make this course better for the average public course player.Again, public courses don't need rough so long that you spend half your time looking for everyone's golf balls. Both of my weekly playing partners expressed no desire to return even at a reasonable $28 green fee.

A nice course, but they need to cut the rough lower to speed up play. The mower that we saw cutting wasn't taking anything off! They also put everyone off the back, but then stuck people in between when we made the turn We then had to wait on every shot of our 2nd 9. On top of that, there was a single out there jumping around holes that they didn't do anything about. May or may not go back.

Greens decent, overall solid course. No ball cleaners, trash cans or anything on the entire 18 hole course. We had to skip a hole to get around a very ignorant 4-some moving slow due to poor play and taking time to fish balls out of the lake on 9.
