Just had a GREAT day at Pinehurst No. 8. Course was in great shape and staff were thorough, attentive and courteous at every step of the way. Special shout out to our fore-caddy Alex. He guided us through the course, kept things light and friendly and his knowledge easily saved my partner and me 4-5 strokes each. If you haven't experienced the joy of a fore-caddy it's worth the small investment ($30 + tip). Thumbs Up!

The course and facilities were wonderful (5 stars)....our pace of play was right at 4 hrs......started at 745am and finished at 1145am. Only one negative, there was no one within 4 holes behind us and the Marshall felt the need to hound us about pace of play. We are all 10 to 12 HCP's and understand pace, and, three to four open holes behind us didnt warrant the third time the Marshall came by trying to speed us up. UGH!!!!

Well, having played hundreds of golf courses I have to agree - there is Pinehurst and everyone else. Just amazing.
