If you are an avid golfer this is not the place to go, if you don't mind a 7 hour round and bad management and golf etiquette this is your place. I recently booked this place a week in advance because of the great photos of this course.Three of us tee'd off at noon, five some in front of us because there is no starter, waiting on every hole for two groups to tee off. After playing nine holes that took four hours our golf cart died on the middle of the 10th fairway. After watching four groups play past us and 45 minutes later someone eventually showed up with a replacement cart. At this pace we were in for close to a nine hour round of golf.Donald Ross said it best when asked about rounds of golf longer than four hours ' golf should be a pleasure not a penance' After speaking to some staff that work there, they made it very clear that 6-7 hour rounds of golf is the standard for this place. They have six minute tee time gaps, just to give you an idea, Wilmington municipal has 16 minute tee time gaps. We told the staff that we preferred not to finish our round, went back to the clubhouse to speak to Nate the part time assistant golf pro, he was a very nice man, we asked for refund or partial refund and explained we had no desire to come back. He claimed the system was down for a refund but said that Monday they would issue a refund to the card. He wrote a hand written letter stating ' due to cart dying and terrible playing conditions we agree to refund 160$ for the round to your card on Monday' just spoke to the manager briefly and the manager is now refusing to honor their agreement. This place is terrible, part of the reason this really upsets me is because the course is absolutely stunning, fairways are like carpet, greens were a little hairy but easy to deal with. Save your money, if I'm paying 80-100$ a round for golf I expect decent management and good pace of play. Go play Wilmington Muni a very well maintained Donald Ross Classic for half of the price.

Trying to be detailed so its an accurate review.First off, the golf course itself is fantastic. GPS carts, plenty of divot sand, small coolers, etc. The course was in tremendous condition. Greens were firm and fast and rolled true. Fairways and tee boxes were lush. Course was well signed to let you know where to go for newbies like us. Heres where they lose a star. The staff at the bag drop were rude and inconsiderate, especially during the current COVID-19 scare. We had three in our group and they insisted on adding a single with us. I realize this is common practice, but we politely asked to decline the fourth. They refused. We then asked if the fourth could have his own cart to help social distance. They refused, citing that if neither party had health issues, they had to pair up. After threatening to leave, they budged and gave the fourth his own cart. The pro inside didnt have any communication with the outside guys and originally said we didnt have to pair up until she updated her computer system. Overall an enjoyable round on a tough but fair track that has plenty of sand and water. It played a bit short from the white tees but the challenges along the way make it play tougher than the distance.

The Golf Course was a four star BUT the staff outside was a two-star very unprofessional in this day and time that we live in really feel that they need more training
