Best course for the money in Hendersonville. Good layout, nice greens. Decent bar too.

Beautiful course. The golf carts have GPS and the staff were friendly. It doesn't have a traditional driving range. Instead it's a practice net you can hit into which was different and really cool.

Pro shop guy (I think his name was Frank)was not welcoming at all. He acted very annoyed that we were wanting to play golf there on July 20th 2019. We called before hand and were told they do a Twilight special later in the day and we could play as many holes as we can before dusk. With it being so hot lately we thought thats a great deal. When we mentioned this to the guy he informed us in a very cold manner that whoever we talked to was wrong and coming in at 4:30 wed only have time for 9 holes even though the corse was very quite at that time of day and it was only my husband playing. Everything that we said to him was met with such a defensive attitude. My grandparents owned a country club in Pennsylvania. My father was a president of a country club in this area for many years. My husband plays all over, I usually just tag along to keep him company. Never have we ever been treated with such animosity and grumpiness. I am certain he thought his work day was coming to an end and was not happy we were wanting to play. In the end we told him that it was obvious that he doesnt want us to play so we will take our money else where and we did. Got 19 holes in at Etowah Valley Golf course and then enjoyed dinner and a bottle of wine at the restaurant after. We will definitely not return to Cummings Cove and well tell our golf community how we were treated. For anyone else wondering about this place I strongly suggest you enjoy golf somewhere else where customer service is still important.
