Amazing Golf Course

Great place to play, friendly atmosphere great associates

Played Kings Grant on recent trip in the area. No problem securing a time for our group of myself and another couple. My wife came along. Arrived early warmly greeted and chatted with the course marshal. Got right out early and had no one in front. Very nice track greens good sandy fairways in areas it is in the Sandhills. Very good value at $36. Im a 50 year player like to think I know the game and Understand the etiquette expected by all. As our game came up the 18th fairway noticed in the distance a large gathering on the 18th green. Laid up short and drove up. Looked liked about 20 players chipping and putting on the 18th green. Instead of addressing drove off past them. We were in a match and this was our last hole. Rather than wait for whatever I drove in and past the green and said sorry to bother you to one sitting in cart. Proceeded to pro shop where my wife went in to use restroom. She came out then I went in and heard yelling behind me. Someone was yelling watch your mouth next time turned away and took off . I came out and my wife indicated this idiot had yelled at her saying your husband is an a hole. Could have gotten ugly. Best he ran away. Did say was a local yokal event playoff. Who cares? Im a customer get off the course and go to putting green. Otherwise a fun day . I did receive a call from The Head Pro who assured me he addressed the issue with the rude local player. Updated 5/18.

The course is looking better than it has in years! Great owners, Great grounds guys, Great staff!!!! The place to play a round or two

The course has improved greatly over the two years since I last played here. The greens are coming around and are very playable. Great layout and the new order of play flows nicely.
