I liked this place. Nothing extravagant with regards to the clubhouse but the course was pretty nice. I didn't expect it to actually be this nice, great value also. Would play it again

I hesitate to write this review only because it's like a good fishing spotyou don't want your secret to get out. Caswell Pines Golf Club is an exceptional course, period. But, you throw in the fact that you pay $37 on a weekend morning to play 18 holes with a cart?! Now you're just talking crazy. This is a hidden gem, one of my favorite courses in the country (not county, because I believe it's the only course in the countyI said country, as in the US). It should be written up in any and every 'best kept secret' style magazine story about golf in the NC and VA areas. And think about itit's under an hour from Greensboro, Durham, Chapel Hill, Danville, and on and on. It should be flooded with people who are sick of paying too much money to play the average courses in those areas. Yet, it always has a decent amount of traffic but you almost never feel rushed, nor do you wait too long. I've played 18 three weekends in a twosome this year and averaged about 3 hours and 15 minutes per round. The course itself is challenging, with every type of hole. Nice usage of water, traps... I could go on and on. The only slight knock I would give it is that the cart paths could use a little bit of love, but if that's the worst you've got, for THIRTY SEVEN DOLLARS on a weekend? Give me a break. Do not hesitate to give this place a try. Caswell Pines is great.

Play golf there 8/6/2019Fairways and green were great. The hole marking was not very clear for a first time of being there. Hole 15s marker was gone. Score card needed to be updated to show creeks. Played in 3 hours and 45 minutes and ranger said we were playing to slow.
