Each time weve visited Asheville, our trip has started here. We dont stay here because it is a bit pricey and a bit of a drive from the core. There is free parking for a few hours. You can walk around and explore the grounds and hotel. They even have a gingerbread house contest, and they display the winners creation. Our favourite thing is to get a cocktail and drink it outside. The views are fabulous. If you go in the fall, the trees are so colourful. Check it out!!
