The course (in general) was in nice condition yesterday when I played there, but here is my complaint...I have no issues with hazzards and high rough (which they DON'T have), but Maplehurst seems to try to increase complexity by having creeks and ravines through almost every fairway. For non professional players hitting a drive straight and decently long is difficult enough... why make it so that the average player gets penalized for a decent drive? I realize that the designers had to work with the land they were given, but this isn't a great track for someone who just wants to work on their game.
