I love Green Mansions. It is hilly, fun and interesting and was laid out way back when greens were made small. My favorite is the eighth, which sits atop a mesa. One time a young girl asked if I would take her so she could drive the cart. On another day, a neighbor asked to accompany me to play. He had bought a ragtag set of clubs at a yard sale. But he brought a big surprise to the course! After the nine-hole round, I introduced Bill to the owner, Ron. This man just shot two under par for nine! Ron said, I like it better when you bring that girl. Walking out of the clubhouse, my neighbor asked, What girl? Ill include her photo, because when shes there she would be the main attraction.
