Found the staff very friendly and accommodating during these trying times. Looking forward to playing this challenging course many more times in the future.

It wasn't that long ago (3 to 4 years) that the PLAYABILITY of the golf course was borderline PITIFUL. A combination of several factors - namely, lack of direction and ill-advised concepts. It drove me bananas to listen about the status of the rough...'can't keep up with it.' 'it's too high.' etc.etc. That's all the reason not to have this excessive rough. You've answered your own problem. The defense of the golf course happens to be the natural mounding, the slopes throughout creating challenges coupled with smallish green complexes. This misconception about fairway widths does not apply --- that's an underlying factor. Thankfully, this trend appears to be in the rear view mirror...for now...thanks to the efforts of a handful of folks. Was very evident last month during the Catskill Classic --- a terrific effort by TV & BL to keep a long standing area event going. WELL DONE. SEE YOU IN 2020.
