First time I played there in over 20 years. Played 18 in only 3 hours and 15 min while walking. Course was well maintained except for traps.

Nice greens, tough and sloping but not a terribly tough course. I'm a 14 hdcp. Average around two Birdie's and a pars are there on many holes. The History alone is worth the walk. Inexpensive and good for the ego. Fun golf course.

Golf course is easy to walk. Even easier to pick up a game. If you are alone or a twosome, great time to play even on weekends is early afternoon when regulars are off already. Many of them will be drinking beer and swapping stories when you get there and when you finish your 18. A par 69, the toughest holes are 1 thru 7. After that, a good golfer should see lots of pars and birdies. Condition of course is decent. Cart fees are now excessive, so the value is now walking w carry bag or push cart. After a scandal w County workers stealing green fees a little while ago, the course now takes your green fee inside the small clubhouse. It used to be at the caddy shack on the way to the first tee.

Very good staff. They were very nice with my kids that play golf. Good course for beginners. Will be back.

Not a luxurious course, but it'll do. Cheap enough, not usually crowded. Only true challenge of the course might be the cross wind on the open parts of the course.
