I took my son and some friends there. It was ok until we were skating on wood floors with welts in it, not to mention the HUGE speed bumps, nearly in the middle of the floor. I cant count how many times I saw people tumbeling and falling because of it, including myself. Its not safe, its hazardous. Then you try to avoid them and end up skating in a small tiny circle. With that said, I appreciate that las cruces has something like that for kids, however, it far from par level. Ill never go back again.

If it was possible I would give this establishment zero stars. Their floor is absolutely horrible and their skates look like they survived through the War of 1812. There are bumps and dips all throughout the floor, but they will tell you that there is only ONE. Not only is the floor close to unskatable, its an old wood floor so you cant use the stoppers on the skates to stop yourself. The on floor staff let the children skate in which ever direction they choose, so not only are you trying to avoid falling because of the bad floor, you now have to dodge the several children coming from different directions besides the one you are going. I am honestly so surprised that OSHA hasnt been notified and gotten this place back into shape. I believe that this skating rink could be great, but the owner needs to put a lot of money into the building. I would not recommend going here until that happens.
