Montcalm Golf Club is an excellent course cut out of an exquisite plot of New Hampshire land. Each hole is unique and interesting, with blind tee shots and approaches on seemingly every hole. Montcalm may not play long by any means, with multiple sub 500 yard par 5s, but it still makes for a difficult round. The fairways are wide and undulating with the landscape. It's a fun course to play and absolutely beautiful.

Exceptional greens and views in every direction. You are greeted with your golf cart as soon as you park. The clubhouse is lovely. The carts have modern technology such as display screens for the course. The holes offered various challenges with slopes, corners, and sand traps with immaculate greens. The bloody Mary's were just the cherry on top.

It's a mountain course with all of the pluses and minuses of that format. You seem to always be hitting to a target above or below you. On the plus side the course is well maintained with big wide fairways and spectacular views. It's a private club with all the amenities included and worth a visit.

Country Club conditions and each hole is beautifully designed into the terrain. Amazing views ! Ive played here several times and have never been disappointed.

A great golf course where you play at your own pace and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountain ranges. Greens that are manicured to perfection with a course layout designed to tease out the best golf game from most every player. Play golf and enjoy nature and your surroundings.

Pros: Course is in tip-top shape. Great views at every point. Course was relatively well-marked and only a little confusion between holes as to where to drive. Each golf cart has a GPS showing you yardage to each pin or given landing area. Free self-serve ice water 'to go' station at clubhouse to begin your round. Cons: no refills on the course, in any form. Con #2: There could have been a little better monitoring of the flow of play, as the group behind us teed off so soon on #1, I almost ducked in shock after hearing the sound; didn't leave us a lot of time to find our ball even if it was just in the rough. Con 3: The signs with an arrow bearing the direction 'TEE #4', or 'NEXT TEE', were placed at the ground level about a foot off the path: hard to see if you feel like you need to hurry up, and are new to the facility. Con 4: It costs money to join this facility, and we were there for a mere 9 holes of community golfing, but even there the greens fees surpassed my overall comfort level. (Granted, the cart fee is included in the round, but carts are mandatory). Still: we had more fun than I expected because the course has a great feel.

Picturesque well conditioned uncrowded gem in NH. Might consider a few more directional signs and a senior tee at 5500 yards. Lots of interesting challenges, especially elevation changes and runoffs. Putt very carefully!

I am reluctant to say anything nice about Montcalm because if you knew what a spectacular golf course it is, it would be inundated with golfers. Four of us played there yesterday for the first time. We cant wait to play again now that we have an idea of what to do. Hopefully we can concentrate on the golf and not just the magnificent scenery.

I had the pleasure of playing golf at Mtcalm last week. I was greeted by Chuck ( co- owner ) who made us feel very welcome and took the time to give us some tips about some of the holes. The layout of the course is challenging but fair. The views from some of the locations of the course were fantastic. If you are looking to give yourself a treat this is a must experience. Had the opportunity to play Montcalm on June 6th, the day after an inch and a half of rain fell. As expected the course had some wet spots, but the course is absolutely georgeous. Played longer because of cart path only play, but is challenging, yet enjoyable. Got to meet the new owners. They really made you feel welcome. If you find yourself looking for a golf treat, you must go to Montcalm.

If you have an opportunity to play Montcalm you'll discover a hidden gem tucked away in the NH hills. The course is beyond picturesque and is immaculately groomed. Play is challenging but fun. Go play!

Very simple private club with a ginormous lovely golf track. The best thing about playing Montcalm is the course itself. It is fairly long, with challenging features. Lefties should love this course because of all of the right-hand dog-leg holes. Very dramatic elevation changes with lovely views and vistas.The clubhouse is a very richly built cabin with ample space for a limited private membership. Practice balls are Titlist ProV1 golf balls. This club definitely shows that it wants to be a classy, exclusive club, but that seems to betray somewhat of a boring conservatism. Outside of the golf, its a bit of a yawn. Ask a member if there is a different story. I saw way too much navy blue and khaki for my taste.
