What a beautiful course. Service superb! Lost my iPhone on hole 5. They found it on course Mike a starter fed cedar it to me next day to Houston. Such good service. Course was in great shape and very fair if you play from correct tees. Tiger tees tough and greens very very fast. Dont be above the hole is all I can say. Would highly recommend this course if you are in the area.

Really fun course! A nice challenge but not too challenging. The course is surrounded by forest on each side every hole, but its wide enough that its normally not a big danger. Greens were firm, but not incredibly fast. Sand traps were beautiful!

Wow. Just wow. These guys really know how it's done. We were welcomed so graciously by all staff. We have never played this course, but they made us feel right at home. Don't let the less expensive greens fees steer you away. We've payed double (sometimes triple) in fabulous Myrtle Beach and this place puts them all to shame. Theresa, the bar tender/club house server was an absolute delight. Doyle, the starter, was exceptionally welcoming and offered wonderful conversation and jokes. The course itself was absolutely beautiful!!! It's nestled in some sort of forest reserve, but trust me, the drive (about 35 min from Biloxi) is absolutely worth it. If you ever stay in Biloxi and are looking for a wonderful course, this is the place to go. (They also offer military discount which allowed my husband and myself to play 18 for $100) Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Check it out, you won't regret it! Oh, and the food was surprisingly delicious! (We are pretty picky cooks ourselves) I got the Roast Beef Poboy and the hubby got the Grand Bear Club...yummm.

This course is exceptional. I played the course for the first time today and the layout is magnificent! A true golfers golf course. In addition, the folks who maintain the course keep it in stellar condition - pristine sand, rough surrounds course and bunkers, perfect tee boxes, this course is truly amazing.

course and staff were awesome, the 6 mile winding ride to the course, is only down fall, but worth it to see and play this gem! definitely off the beaten path but for a reason. driving range and facilities also top notch

If you want remote and one of the best courses out their - this is it. We really enjoyed the course, food was very good and great clubhouse. Pace of play for the afternoon was very slow, as most group replay and they just jam them between groups. I'd probably try to get out as early as possible if replaying.

Absolutely beautiful golf course!!! You will feel like you are the only person on the course. Players from every skill level can enjoy with 5 sets of tees. Only reason not 5 stars, all employees besides the starter didn't seem friendly or informative at all. Played a lot of courses and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

Great course that belongs in the top 100 public courses as it continues to improve in condition. Best layout on the Gulf Coast, hands down. Awesome staff and total service. Doyle, Bailey and Theresa are the best in the business.

Best course around on the Mississippi gulf coast. Friendliest staff you will ever meet and just one of the best layouts. This course is in the middle of the Desoto national forest and is secluded away from civilization which makes it a great golf experience.

The staff is amazing, they are extremely friendly and professional, the pro shop is just a beautiful place to just hang out in if don't golf, but i recommend checking out their discount bin, lots of great deals. The course is an absolute jem in my opinion, i will be back numerous times.

Beautiful course! Love the Bear! Love Saucier! Great town and beautiful golf. My irons were on fire at this course. I highly suggest playing a round here before hitting the tables.

Great layout. the course was in good condition. No house at all which is refreshing. Doyle the starter was a hoot. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended track if you are in the Gulfport-Biloxi area.

Played yesterday. Temp was low 80s. Staff was excellent - everyone was friendly and helpful. Course was surprisingly unchallenging. Very ...plain...disappointing; though in good condition. The back tees added length, but not difficulty. Not a signature hole on the course - really nothing memorable at all. I called 6 weeks ago to assure that there would be decent rental clubs to avoid the whole shipping hassle. Could have found better clubs at any yard sale - was told that they were waiting for the new ones to arrive. Again, the people were great, the experience - not so much.

What a great experience! Staff was very friendly, driving range was fantastic, electric carts, concrete paths and a beautiful layout. Jack did a very nice job making golf rewarding and tough! I played in Feb so the grass was a little spotty but come April, Im sure the course will be impeccable!! Cant wait to come back for another round!

The two excellent nine-hole loops of Grand Bear, rated 4-1/2 stars, are laid out through pristine, quiet woodland, located about 10 miles back from the Gulf of Mexico shoreline. Here there are no roads, housing or modern-day intrusions to detract from your enjoyment of this wonderful Jack Nicklaus Signature design.

Great course by the man.. The Golden Bear himself! I highly recommend this course if you are staying at the casinos. It is about 40 minutes from Hard Rock but well worth the drive.

Coming from a local, Grand Bear has the best price/quality relationship around. It is challenging but still a fun course to play. You will likely want to play it again. *Versatile tee box selection*Excellent scenery and clubhouse*Well maintained*Big greens that roll nicely
