My buddy and I golf at Gem Lake exclusively. Its not the nicest golf course in the area, but its typically laid back and a good deal for the course. However, Saturday night we golfed the front nine and walked with rented pull-behind cart. We got to the 9th hole after an hour and forty five minutes (8:45pm) and were approached by a Gem Lake employee. He was a middle-to-older aged man in an orange tank top. He asked us if we were finishing up and said that we had taken a couple swings from the tee off. We acknowledged and asked him why this was a problem. He told us we had rented pull-behind, implying he wanted them so he could leave for the night. He then proceeded to sit in the golf cart watching us hit. We asked him if he was planning to watch us the whole time, and he said no, but then proceeded to do just that. He followed us to where we hit and stopped again. He then accused us of paying for two players but having 3. One of our buddies was walking along with us but didnt take a single swing the whole day.I have loved going to Gem Lake, but this mans rude, unacceptable behavior has made me not what to go again. He shouldnt work there if hes not willing to wait until paying customers done with their rounds.
