Amazing Golf Course

On the good side...course layout was pretty as it is cut through thick trees. Many holes isolated from others. Very narrow fairways. Greens were not in the best shape and the fairways were a bit shaggy.On the bad side...we had a 7:30AM tee time but the course had not opened yet. Manager on duty finally showed up at 7:40. Now, I realize that courses have 9 hole leagues during the weekdays. It would have been nice if the manager had given us a heads up that we'd be making the turn right in the middle of a ladies league. Maybe recommend playing the back 9 first would have been better.More on the bad side...in college, I worked for a golf course on the grounds crew. We were always told the customer comes first and if you encounter players, stop mowing or watering and let them play through. The crew here did anything but that. There were multiple times when we had to wait for them to finish what THEY were doing.Overall we did not have a memorable day at Chase Hammond when it could have been much better.

Nice course but for no reason should a place allow a group of 5 play and hold up play flow on fathers day and if you do you should keep the price more like Hickory Knolls

Great course. Greens are in good shape and as usual the course is challenging.
