The course is great if you can play a solid draw. A lot of the holes seem left. The fairways were still pretty long grass (like rough at other courses) and made it hard to even find the ball. Great staff though! Still had fun!

I hope our experience the other night was related to the staff just having a bad day. Unfortunately, we probably won't be spending nearly as much time at this course as we have in the past. Now, we're in there enough to be on a first-name basis with the staff. But when we showed up this week to play a round of golf around 5:30, they were evidently in the midst of counting money. We walked up to the counter and were met with icy stares and promptly told 'you can only play the back 9.' Now this is fine; evidently there was a league on the front 9, and we only wanted to play 9 anyway. So the back 9 was fine. Although they certainly could have been a little more pleasant about it. They told us it would be a few minutes before they could ring us up as they had to finish counting money. That was fine. What wasn't fine, though, was when we were very grumpily told 'just go sit down somewhere until we're ready for you.' And the staff loudly complained and wished for the 'old days' in which they apparently 'had a gate that came out so we could lock people out while we counted.'It isn't as though this was our first time at the course and it wasn't that the clerks don't know who we are. Were they really that worried that long-time customers who they know were really showing up on this particular evening to rob their shop instead of play a round of golf?My father felt incredibly disrespected, and he has told me he won't go back to Spring Valley and we need to find a new course to play. Fortunately, there are plenty of other good options nearby. If Spring Valley is that concerned about their money-counting process, perhaps a couple of solutions would be to wait until the end of the night to handle cash counts. Alternatively, the store could lock its doors and post a sign saying 're-opening in 10 minutes.' There are many different ways a business could handle this scenario without treating customers as an inconvenience and treating customers rudely and with disrespect. We have had some great experiences at this course. Unfortunately, each day is a new opportunity to make a great impression. And Spring Valley failed to do that in this instance. And as a result, I don't anticipate we'll be playing their course in the future.
