I really like the layout and location of this course. Well maintained with really nice golf carts. Too bad the current staff is so unfriendly. They need to take classes in customer service.

The course itself has a nice layout and is taken care of properly. It also has a great location in regards to the Grand Rapids metro area. However as Tom Petty once said, the waiting is the hardest part. They seem to have no idea what proper spacing is for tee times. This happens every time. They clearly try to squeeze every drop of juice out of the grapes. I walked off the course once because of overbooking. A ten minute wait per hole seems like heaven compared to normal. So if you want a fast round you should plan on being the first group off the tee or you will have plenty of time to surf the net, write a book, or come up with a new invention while you wait in agony on almost every hole.

Nice course actually, but the customer service is pretty poor. We called, made a tee time over the phone, and was told it would be 55. The next day when we showed up it was 60. Not really a big deal, but the guy in the pro shop was nothing but rude to all of us. Separately, If you care about sanitizing, masks, or social distancing, dont go here. Kinda sad considering a lot of The customers are over 55. Stick to thornapple for the same price or drive to pilgrims run/ ravines.
