At $56 for 18 holes with a cart on July 4, The Rock is a bargain. When it was clear we would miss our tee time by miscalculating the Drummond Island ferry schedule, we called to apologize, and pledged to get there as quickly as the ferry would take us. The staff member was a bit abrupt on the phone (one-word answers), but that all went away when we arrived. Staff was attentive and friendly. We had the course to ourselves. Beautiful weather and regular visits from the beer cart made it a perfect day. The course itself is lovely, forgiving, and well-maintained.
