Wow. The course was amazing but what made the place exceptional was the staff. They were professional and welcoming and just made for a great day. It didnt hurt that I fired off a 76 and pounded my two sons into the ground!!!

Played here for the first time. If this was an inexpensive muni course, yeah, it would be 4 and a half stars. But it isn't. It's expensive and laid out by a hall of fame architect and it has a lot of history. The overall conditions were so so at best. Tee boxes just ok. Greens pretty bad. Weeds and crab grass throughout including in some bunkers. Some fairways burnt out. For the greens fee they charge, you'd expect much better than just so so conditions. Golf now hot deal was still a pricey $68, down from the usual $90. The club house looked very pretty and facilities very nice. Just wish the conditions were better.
