5 stars for the course layout and cleanliness of the grounds and clubhouse...1 star for the guy the answers the phone in the clubhouse! 7/28 we had a tee time set up for 12:30 for a 3some. All was great I was very impressed from what I saw from the pro shop to the clubhouse restaurant to the awesome golf carts with the most comfortable seats I've ever sat on in a golf cart!! We teed off on time and had a 2some playing in front of us, when we arrived on the 2nd tee we pulled up to find the 2some waiting to hit..this was the pattern the entire front nine. After nine we stopped in the clubhouse to grab lunch which took about 10 minutes. Teeing off on 10 we couldn't see anyone in front of us and later discovered that the 2some had stopped after nine. On the 12th tee we rolled up up another 2some waiting to tee off, we sat and waited roughly 10 minutes to tee off and 5 minutes to hit second shots to the green which happed on 13 and 14 too...15 is where it got really bad, we pulled up to a 4some on the tee with the 2some waiting behind them it took 15 minutes to tee off on 15 and near 20 minutes to play the hole so all and all 30 minutes to play that hole! Now I was annoyed and decided to call the clubhouse. I explained to the guy what was happening on the course and he immediately responded with attitude stating we were 7 minutes ahead on our round! At this point it was 4:20 we were waiting again on the 16th tee and we teed off on 1 at 12:30!!! 3 hours to play 15 holes and keep in mind the 2some in front of us left how the hell could we be 7 minutes ahead! He continued to argue with me until I finally hung up knowing it was pointless. When we were waiting on the tee we spoke to the 2some in front of us and the 2 some behind us we all agreed this was the longest time it has ever taken us to play a round of golf! The entire time I never saw a ranger driving around making sure people were keeping pace. What an awesome course but this lack of management completely ruined the experience for me and the other groups playing in front and behind us. And how unprofessional of the guy I spoke to on the phone to argue with a paying customer instead of just apologizing and saying he would send out a ranger to try to speed up play! We finished our round at 5:30, 5 hour round not what I would call 7 minutes ahead of schedule...Pretty frustrating and to be met with attitude by the pro shop really left a bad taste in my mouth...disappointing
