Amazing Golf Course

Course isnt in very good shape, with a lot of torn up areas. Many of the holes have swarms of wasps/hornets which isnt very fun to deal with.My major reason for 1 star comes from my most recent experience there. My friends and I had booked two tee times for today earlier in the week. It had rained a lot the day before, but was a perfect day out for golf. We drove 40 minutes from Champaign to come play only to find out that a golf outing that was supposed to take place yesterday got moved to today, and that wed only be allowed to play the front 9, and could only play it once. On top of that, it was $23 to play the 9 holes, which is $5 more than the $18 coupon I had purchased previously that was good for 18 holes.This is horrible customer service. Theres no reason we shouldnt have gotten a phone call to let us know that we would not be allowed to play more than nine holes prior to us driving all the way over there. Had we known we wouldnt have wasted our time, and wouldve went elsewhere so we could play a full 18. Needless to say, I wont be returning anytime soon, and I would advise others to avoid this course as well. I would hate for anyone else to get screwed over like my friends and I did.

Very nice course. Well maintained and friendly staff!!

Not an overly challenging course but does have some fun holes to play. The course is usually in good condition and the staff is great. I also recommend the junior golf camps that they put on. The only down side is that it is a city course with low rates. You have to go into it with the mindset that not everyone playing there knows golf etiquette. Just know that you might get cut in front of, held up with out being allowed to play through, balls landing in your vicinity with no call out.

Nice golf course, a long trip from home but worth the visit. Danvil Il.
