Hokuala is a place I would recommend to see. It's got beautiful views and it's good for walking, jogging, running or riding your bike. For me, in my opinion I love this place.

Course condition was what you expect at this price point (that is, very good). Questionable management of the tee sheet though. On paper they had groups going off every 3 minutes, and their 'corrective' action was to send off a group of 6 at 8:15 am. I heard the starter call back to the pro shop and ask if there was some mistake, and they confirmed to send out 6. Unbelievable. The starter took mercy on our twosome and let us go off 10 (for which we are very thankful); otherwise we would have been headed for a 5 hour round. I assume this was an unusual situation, so I would still go back to play it again.
