Course is moist, 90 rule in effect and probably will be for awhile, greens 7-8.

The Hunter Golf Club is among the best maintained courses in Savannah. As of the time of this review, the effects of hurricane Matthew are still noticeable, but there is a team working daily to clean up the damage. The course is decently designed and offers a variety of hole designs to keep the flow of play interesting. My only real complaint is that it lacks the serenity of most courses due to being located adjacent to an active military airfield.

GREAT COURSE! Course is in great shape Fairways and Greens. First time playing it and it is tough. You have to hit fades, draws and if you dont hit it solid or online you will pay the piper. Trees are placed in just the right locations to make you think and the slopes on those Greens, you have to play smart. Great test of Golf for 30 bucks!

I attended a women's golf clinic for the first time in my life and had a blast! The staff at Hunter Golf Club were warm and welcoming - Tommy showed an level of patience with our group of ladies and gave great tips and advise to all of us as a group and individually! Overall it was a fantastic experience!

It Was Hot But Golf Course is in Great Shape. Played 18 Holes in 3 1/2 Hours. Plus $99 Membership and you Pay $20 for the Cart. You Can't Beat that Anywhere

Great course. Times are tough though. Wasn't busy on a Sunday. The guy who blows off the greens didn't show. But over all pretty darn good course

I had a great round of golf At Hunter Golf Club today. Fairways were in great shape, greens were firm and the weather was perfect. Very nice club house with everything you could need. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Much improved over the past 2 years. Fairways and greens are now consistently good, but tee boxes need work. Used to be you could show up anytime during the week and play without tee times, but now you better call first. Security is tough getting on the army base, but once you get cleared, you get a 60 day pass.

Played 04/26/2019Has to be the worst golf courses I have ever played,cost 37 dollars 30 minutes to get background check just to get in gate and the course was in horrible shape the Army should be ashamed to charge to play.If they are not going to keep it up they should close it.
