Ask a lot of questions, I did not ask enough. The rules are changing each day with added fees for renters. The lot owners I was dealing with were the best, I was looking forward to next winters stay. We followed the instructions we were given and submitted our info and deposit more than 30 days in advance only to be told Debby did not know we were coming and we had to agree to financial and criminal background checks None of the package I received stated that. Once I learned I had to sign a unreasonable info release, pay for a background check, grandchildren can stay only 45 days annually. That coupled with very limited acess to facility personnel during summer hours left us with the impression this is not a resort. It's a disorganized retirement community.i am a retired USMC 1stsgt, former security manager and law enforcement trainer....... Management made me feel pretty unwelcome.
