This is a stable of the city of Bridgeport. The Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course (Not related to the high school) is a fantastic golf course which features two challenging and fun 18 hole courses. If you need golf supplies, the pro shop is the perfect place to get them. Looking to grab a snack after the first 9 holes of your game, the snack bar offers a great range of great tasting food. This is a must visit for anybody in Bridgeport looking to play some great golf, or someone visiting in the area

I do not play Fairchild all that often, but over the years have played both courses a number of times. This morning was the second time I showed up for an early morning round of golf (when the website said they were open) only to find out its another 2 hours before they actually open. The workers can be generalized as unorganized and unintelligent (one couldnt even give change from a $100 bill). The courses themselves are always beaten up and should only be played when every other golf course if closed. Fairchild Wheeler is a last resort spot to play your golf but also be weary because even if they say they are open, oftentimes they are not.

The black course is usually a good play. I was a little disappointed at the level of disrepair of some of the tee boxes and one green. Overall it was a good round but I would like to see more care taken with the tee boxes, fairways, green, and paths.

No terrible for early season. Tee boxes and greens just aerated on red course.
