Had to listen to a party of 5 adults curse and act like 3rd graders while we had dinner. Staff made no attempt to adjust their behavior. Cant recommend anything positive about the dinner experience here

Three years ago, we played Ravens nest and this course was in great shape. However, today, the course was in completely AWFUL shape. It would have been nice to know how awful the course conditions were before arriving to the course and paying greens fees. We were told there were a few rough holes, but literally the whole course looked like a goat ranch. You would think with the course conditions the staff would be super kind and friendly. This is NOT the case. We encountered rude, arrogant, staff throughout the day, from people in the clubhouse to the cart guys. The cart guys mumbled words under their breath about us, and the staff in the shop said we couldnt play a fivesome even though they told us we could on the phone. I would suggest staying away from this course until the course stops looking like a cow pasture and the staff decide to lose the haughty arrogance they have.

We played the Raven on Monday and found it much improved over last year. The greens sre recovering nicely, hold shots and very playable. Some of the fairways are suffering from heat dormancy, but better than last year. They are definitely working on their irrigation and it is showing. Obviously you cant beat the location or the views. The course layout is great and a lot of fun. Pace of play was incredible too at just under 4 hours . . . Maybe due to the new GPS system. Thanks for a fun day . . . John and Sally

The layout was great but the course was in terrible shape. @$170 a person the tee boxes shouldnt be dead and you shouldnt have to decide to bump the ball as a group because the fairways were poor. The traps had weeds. Kelly the bartender was fantastic and she was the reason for the 1 star. We spoke to 3 other groups that played after us and each complained about the same things. If they ever get it in shape it could be fantastic.Adding a response from the 'owner' response below. We attempted to speak to the GM 3 different times, when we dropped our clubs after the round, when we walked through the Golf shop to get drinks and while sitting for almost 2 hours having drinks and lunch outside. He was not interested in any number of people that we met that day discussing anything with him. Again, not a horrible experience, the course needs a lot of work and obviously someone who cares to run it.

On a recent mountain golf trip, We played The Raven and could really see the progress from the prior year. Greens, fairways and cart paths were much improved! Sand traps were challenging. The staff in the clubhouse was very attentive and helpful. I look forward to playing again next year!
