Amazing Golf Course

Great place

We played a round of soccer golf a couple weeks ago and had a great time. We always do... However, when we arrived in the bar to have post round drinks and snacks, the gal that was supposed to be the server was way more interested in talking to a friend and checking her social media on her phone. There was only one other table with two people in the bar. We were hot and thirsty. We sat for 10 minutes watching her look at her phone and occasionally glance up at us. We finally got up and just left. It's too bad as I love this little course and all the staff there except for her. I love to patronize it and don't mind spending/tipping a generous amount at Shalimar. We were a table of 6, ready to spend $150 or more, but this gal was much more interested in her phone. I've read other reviews that offer similar assessments of her behavior. Why do you keep employing her? She's doing very real damage to Shalimar's recovery.

Cheap - no frills golf. Course is poorly maintained. It's kind of depressing to see how poorly managed this course is. I wish the current owner would sell it - it's obvious they don't give a hoot about it's current state.
