Lots of dead grass areas nice bunkers. But the fairways were not up to par. Plus my partner and I got matched up with a three some that weren't very good at all made for a long day. Unacceptable.

This resort is a hidden gem. We came to the spa a few weeks ago and wanted to try out the hotel and restaurants. First off - the staff is excellent - this may be a four star hotel - but the staff is five star! David at the front desk and Alex, our valet and bellman were both excellent ambassadors of the hotel and were the perfect duo to set the tone for our stay! Our initial room was in building 7B and we later learned was in the older part of the hotel (which has not been renovated) - the older part of the hotel I would rate at 3 star - but the rooms were still nice - just older! We switched rooms because my sister found a spider on her bed and was afraid there would be a spider family in the room. We were upgraded to the Oasis portion of the hotel - which is the newer renovated part. BIG difference. The rooms are much nicer. Actually really glad there was a spider now because changing rooms made all the difference! Tower pool gets very crowded with children and families. Get there early to claim a chair! Also there is a height requirement for the slide so if you have little ones - just be aware of that. I ordered lunch twice at the tower pool and it was very good both times. Ambiance outside at the Wigwam Bar was very nice - live music - string lights - but the food just did not measure up. Dessert was very good though - so if you wanted to just have a chill night at a fire pit table and listen to music then youre in business. I would not recommend the restaurant at the bar. We tried it again at breakfast and it was very bad. I would rate the food at a 1 star sadly. This is not the same as Litchfields restaurant which I am told is very nice - more upscale and better food. we never ended up trying that restaurant. The Oasis Pool is very nice - it is adult only and very peaceful - much different feel than Tower pool. The fitness center was amazing. They have every piece of equipment everything you could think of! The decor and feel of the property is just lovely. I will be coming back here. It reminds me of La Costa resort in Carlsbad California. Very similar feel. Next time we will get a golf and tennis package. I recommend!

You will find very few people who care about you and not expect anything in return. But...oh yea! The Wigwam staff are those kind of people! They will love on you cuz it's the right thing to do and because they care. Thanks Vanessa for taking care of my club shipment, you have a heart of gold. The Red Course is our favorite. It is in great shape. Challenging but pretty forgiving.

Pro shop is hard to find. Sits right behind Reds restaurant. 3 beautiful 18 hole golf courses. Golf carts and clubs to rent are plentiful and of good quality. Good food at Reds.

Had a great time playing the Gold course on 2/24/20. Course is in good shape with greens that are fair and run true. Nice range. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely play again!

It is like returning to the fifties, the rooms are comfortable and yet simple. The golf courses are in no way crowded. The pool is nice, while the bocce ball courts are not groomed.Staff have been super friendly!!

Was down visiting and got the opportunity to caddie for a friend at a recent event. Check out our vid and pic. This place was in great shape. If your feeling it can go low! But has it challenges for all skill levels. Didnt obviously play, but will be back to see how we handle Wigwam!

Very disappointing experience at Wigwam. Flew into Arizona to watch our nieces play in a college golf tournament there. Arrived about 20 minutes ahead of the earlier one's tee time. Was told that there weren't carts available. Mind you, none of the girls playing was using a cart. So they had 1 of their 3 courses completely cart free. The customer service from the two workers in the pro shop was appalling. No apologies, more like a just deal with it attitude. There were 7 teams, each with a minimum of 5 players. Did they not expect parents to come watch? We ended up walking, but with two girls playing four groups apart it made it difficult. Not having enough carts was poor planning that can and should be corrected for next year. The poor customer service and the attitude I received was uncalled for and unacceptable.

An oasis from the heat. We came down to celebrate our birthdays and happened to select the hottest week of the year. The room was huge, the staff was outstanding and there were no crowds. Having a great resort like this almost to ourself is amazing.

We went to Red's for lunch, something we have done many times before. However, today's service was not up to the resorts standards and the food was what I could get at any sports bar only way over priced. Then when it came time to pay the bill they took our credit card but when they came back they had hand written everything out as supposedly the the credit card system was down. At no time was this information shared with us as it should be. I suggest Wigwam take a good hard look at Red's and the way they conduct business, for the rest of you, I suggest you go somewhere else.

My family and I were vacationing at this resort a few weeks ago for the MLK holiday and tried to play Tennis. We were told to speak to a 'Carlos' to ask permission for some reason, regardless that we were paid guests at the resort. He told us that the tennis courts were for 'private members only', but he could 'sneak us in' for $50 each! Now, the next day we made a complaint to a Mr. Cicci, however, he also told us that the Tennis courts were separate from the resort and that Carlos was in charge of who gets to play there. There were no people of color playing Tennis or even golfing at this resort. We are are not sure whether we were discriminated against for not having $500 in cash on us or because we were black. Either way, almost everything about this resort was corrupt. We have traveled a bit and only the resorts in Mexico have tried to get this much cash out of us. The Tennis courts looked run down and had holes in the asphalt. The golf course smelled like a swamp. We won't be coming back to this resort, ever.

Man, I really enjoying coming out here to play. This winter has been so disappointing as the greens are in poor condition. They probably are running at a 10 but are very bumpy. You can hit great putts out here and watch them plinko there way to the hole.

My family and I have been playing golf at the Wigwam for over 20 years, so our recent experiences were especially hurtful. We joined the Tennis club a year ago, but were kicked out for making complaints about the poorly maintained locker rooms and tennis courts, the oddly random cash payments demanded by the Tennis Director Carlos, and his harassing phone calls to my wife. We also learned that many of the members werent even paying for their memberships. We were charged $550 to be paid in cash and then $180 a month thereafter. Somehow, anything else such as a working locker is considered a courtesy that, as you can guess, must be paid for in extra cash. Wigwam used to be an amazing golf resort many years ago, but its gone completely downhill and now seems to be run by a bunch of extortionists and conmen. My father's $3,000 golf clubs were also stolen at the bag drop and the manager told him he shouldve known better than to drop his clubs at the bag drop. Its corrupt.

Fairly awful Pro-shop. We've been golfing here since 1996. Our clubs were stolen right in front of the bag drop and no one did anything. When we made a complaint, the staff just laughed at us. Rick Cicci, their manager, is unprofessional and doesn't seem to manage anything...at all. Go to Scottsdale to golf; the WigWam is managed by complete garbage.

We have visited the resort multiple times. We are local so its nice to have a place like this thats close by to spend a night or two. The restaurants are great and the out door music is awesome on the weekends.

I feel a deep, almost spiritual connection to Arizona while I play this course. It has a distinct feel of old Arizona emanating from the pristine canals and old growth eucalyptus and pines. Think Beverly Hills circa 1936, thats what this course feels like. Enjoy the day but buckle up, at 7600 yards its not a play thing!

Awesome courses! Played on all 3 and have not been disappointed. The staff there are the best. With some of the most inexpensive tee times in the Phoenix area, the Wigwam is for sure a must play for any golfer!

I accidentally gave it 2 stars earlier. My bad. Its definitely a 5 star resort. Great pools. They have 3 of them. One of the pools is very family friendly. It has 2 water slides and a splash pad for the kids. They have wait staff that comes around so you can order drinks and or food. Just a great place.

2 months ago we were there for a Marriage Retreat with our church and paid for an extra night. Both rooms we encountered cockroaches and spiders. They tried to make it right and we were willing to give them a second chance but overall we were dissatisfied with their response.

My Big Concern is on the Red course on the 13th green you need signage tell people that it's not appropriate to walk your dogs, ride your bikes up and down the sidewalk, or just walk while paying customers are trying to play golf.

The course is in amazing shape. The ground crew really has done an amazing job and with college tournaments going on there they really stepped it up from the over seeding. The greens were really smooth and held approach shots the way a green should. I'm not a fan of hitting it short and bouncing shots on. Get out there a go flag hunting!

Pace of play was wonderful. Greens were bumpy but rolled true . Cart girl came often. And was friendly. But the fairways were horrible no grass on several holes and ground was hard. So it was difficult to chip
