What a great trip. Captain Herm picked 6 of us up near the ship and we headed off for a great morning of Halibut fishing. It started slow and it seemed like we were going to have a bad day, until it didn't. Before you knew it almost everyone was catching or getting hits. My two older boys balanced out on the front. One was getting uptight, but all of a sudden he had a fish, the the other one did also. Herm was so patient and really taught us all to fish for Halibut, we are bass fishers so this was quite a different strategy. We caught about 7 halibut and one cod, just as time was running out Dad Tav, got a hit, a big hit. It took awhile to pull into the boat, it was so big we couldn't keep it. The picture is attached. Herm has to have been one of the nicest folks we met on our trip, his boat was nice and his dog was a great addition. What I did not know, my fault, was that we needed to pay for fishing licenses as well. I missed that but had a credit card on me for that. Overall way less expensive than booking through a cruise line. PS he sells great sweatshirts.

Great time, Capt. Herm was an awesome guy and he put us on the meat within 10 minutes of anchoring up. An hour later we had our limit and even bagged an 80lb. 79 incher!
