We went for the fireworks on the 4th of July and saw them from our car. A really nice place to all get together and to enjoy the beach and all Douglas has to offer. It really is a nice place especially on the rare occasion where it doesn't rain!

One of my favorite places to relax and explore since I was a kid. I come here now with my son every time I visit relatives in Juneau. The sand is nice find mind tailings from the abandoned mines of Treadwell.

Very nice walk, good for viewing wildlife and impressive landscapes. Had a Bald Eagle following me around for about an hour!
