Happy to have a disc golf course in Decatur. My favorite course is always going to be RSA. This does not have the manicured fairways of Redstone, but it is fun enough. Be sure to bring a course map.. The start of the next hole may be 20 feet from the pin, but you won't find it because of the brush / foliage. The tree density is about like Monte Sano, but the yardage is on the short side so it isn't too frustrating. Unfortunately, some people choose to leave their beer cans and rubbish behind, which detracts from the overall experience.

This course was a blast. I'm new to disc golf this year and it was pretty difficult but super fun. The trees keep you focused on getting good throws tether than power throws. The terrain and environment is just so cool. What your step though, you really could twist an ankle.

The course is NOT closed on Sundays. You just have to park outside gate and walk to it. The course is very tight with short holes. It is named after thorny trees throughout the course and they will draw blood. Hole 18 is across parking lot by itself.
